About the artist
Sergo Tbileli (b. 1958, Tbilisi) is a Georgian painter, sculptor, and professor. Educated at the Tbilisi Iakob Nikoladze Art College and the Tbilisi State Academy of Arts, and later under Andrei Mylnikov in Saint Petersburg, he is known for monumental murals, mythic large-scale paintings, and more than three decades of teaching at the Academy.
